Compatibility

Since November 1998, CEIA LACE has been recognised as a 'Competent Body in matter of Electromagnetic Compatibility' by the Minister for Communications.

The services are: identification of Harmonised Regulations applicable for CE Certification; fast, accurate execution of EMC measurements; expert technical assistance in resolving non-compliance problems; issue of Certificate or Technical as 'Competent Body'; under EMC Directives.

Starting from 1987 CEIA has been carrying out Electromagnetic Compatibility Measurements on equipment it manufactures, and since 1994 has been recognised as a 'Highly-Qualified Laboratory authorised by the Minister for Universities and Scientific Research to carry out research of an applied nature on behalf of small and medium-sized business'.
